I am trying to adjust the door hinges on the Red Fox and the Phillips (Pozidrive?) screw heads are gigantic. Does a #4 Phillips fit? I don't want to drive all over town to find one and find out it doesn't fit. Thanks, Kurt JH 13148 (runs well) and 19753 project

Well, I managed to purchase a #4 phillips bit at the local Ace Hardware. The fit wasn't good but it did the job. I'm now trying to adjust the hinge side of the door upward. Not sure how that works. Kurt

I used a #3 Phillips which seemed to work ok to get them apart, but then I went across the street to the hardware store and got socket head Allen screws to replace. Much easier to torque. As far as adjusting, what I did was to get all the screws in loosely and then put a hydraulic floor jack with a towel over it under the part of the door I wanted to lift.

The adjustment for the doors is in the 3 bolts that go into the door itself. You will need to remove the door panel to access them

I will loosen the bolts with the door in the closed position and attempt to pry the hinge side upward while lowering the strike side. If I can get 1/8" it should help the wide gap at the top of the strike side. Kurt

You can adjust the 3 door volts so there is some friction and then try to set the door.

Well, I managed to lever the door upward about 3/16". This door doesn't fit very well in the hole and I suspect the fenders were removed for the previous Earl Scheib paint job. The outer handle is jammed and it must be opened from the inside. I need to remove the handle and lock for paint anyway so maybe I can figure out the problem. I blame it on the DPO! Kurt
