my Jensen Healey worth? In general, a running, functional Jensen Healey or Jensen GT in California goes from $6,000 to as high as $40,000 for exceptional, high quality restorations. Very high quality, unmolested, stock, low mileage examples will tend to be in the $9,000 - $18,000 range. Non-runners go from $100 to about $2,500. High-end examples may have Lotus 907 engine performance modifications, (2.2 liter stroker crankshafts, high compression pistons, performance cams, 45mm Dellortos) paint and interior upgrades (custom wood, custom leather, etc.) besides being in show or near show condition. In general, deduct for other, non-Lotus engine conversions. The car's value for upgrades will weigh heavily on the tastefulness of the upgrades. Again, deduct considerably for badly modified examples (i.e.: aluminum dashboards, extensive use of non-English components or Ferrari badges/tail lights on the back).

For Sale 1974 Jensen Healey MK11. (vin#18758) I bought this California car as a project car. However, other interests have taken its place. The Jensen's engine is the original 907 Lotus and it turns over by hand. It was running 2 S.U. 6 carbs when purchased. For Sale 1974 Jensen Healey. VIN # 18528. During the last 25 years I have owned 5 JH convertibles and 3 GTs. The purchase price went from $0 to $3500. Each car exceeded $14,000 total rebuild cost. For Sale 1974 Yellow Jensen Healey, 4 speed with black interior. Just under 15,000 original miles. Dealer installed A/C - roll bar and boot rack. Everything has been gone through Fuel - cooling system - brake system. New timing belt and tensioner bearings factory belt shroud. SOLD 1974 Jensen Healey. Runs strong, new top and carpeting with gold panasport rims. Original Lotus engine 4 speed manual transmission, with 88,000 miles. This is a California car with no visible rust. Brakes were changed 4,000 miles ago, with a recent tune up and oil change. For Sale 1974 Jensen Healey. Five-speed car. Hard and soft tops. Runs, drives, shifts and stops well, although front end is not as tight as it should be. I bought this car from a friend who was not very mechanical. He put thousands in the car over the past few years including a new head, complete brake system including booster. Excellent seats. For Sale 1974 1/2 Jensen Healey. Big bumpers, 4 speed. I purchased it new from the Donald Healey agency in Warwick, England. It's been on jack stands longer than I care to admit. Factory hardtop (missing some trim, factory tonneau cover, full set of factory seat upholstery, new tires, refinished wheels, overhaul by Automotive Craftsmen, Shreveport, LA, head done by Dave Bean, new master cylinder (TR), brakes redone (rotors at the minimum). Left front fender needs to be rehung (my body shop did not understand the difference between Detroit mass-produced panels and English hand-built ones) (I had orders to leave Shreveport, LA and go to Rome, NY - I had to leave while the work was in progress - otherwise we would have gone to court). For Sale 1974(75) Jensen Healey SN 18986 built 11/22/74 for sale. The engine has been modified with 2.2L stroker crank, 104 intake and 107 exhaust cams respectively and Dellorto carbs. The timing belt has been replaced with the high mileage more durable type and the appropriate cam pulleys. The 5 speed close ratio Getrag has been replaced with a Toyota 5 speed overdrive W58 transmission. The car has 37,000+ miles, but less than 1000 on engine rebuild. It has 15" alloy wheels with low milage on the tires ( original wheels to be included). Other improvements include electric fan on aluminum radiator, Koni shocks, metallic red paint, Lotus non leaking valve covers(originals included), electronic ignition, Cibie fog lights, AM-FM radio with electric rear fender antenna, Moto-Lita leather steering wheel (original included) with functioning horn button , electrically operated remote trunk switch, Tonneau cover.The convertible top is, I suspect, original and quite functional but not pretty.
