What's my Jensen Healey worth?
In general, a running, functional Jensen Healey or Jensen GT in California goes from $6,000 to as high as $40,000 for exceptional, high quality restorations. Very high quality, unmolested, stock, low mileage examples will tend to be in the $9,000 - $18,000 range. Non-runners go from $100 to about $2,500. High-end examples may have Lotus 907 engine performance modifications, (2.2 liter stroker crankshafts, high compression pistons, performance cams, 45mm Dellortos) paint and interior upgrades (custom wood, custom leather, etc.) besides being in show or near show condition.

In general, deduct for other, non-Lotus engine conversions. The car's value for upgrades will weigh heavily on the tastefulness of the upgrades. Again, deduct considerably for badly modified examples (i.e.: aluminum dashboards, extensive use of non-English components or Ferrari badges/tail lights on the back).

For Sale Must sell 1973 Jensen-Healy due to moving- first $6,000 gets to have it. Pacific Blue, 80,000 miles. This car has a recent new interior including Dynamat, new wool carpet and new vinyl and door cards and seats. It was soda blasted down to bare metal and then painted pacific blue two years ago. For Sale For Sale 1973 Jensen Healey Vin #11032. Clean Colorado title in my name. Recently acquired from personal friend who was a longtime owner (20+ years). Complete unmolested, light blue car with a soft top. The car was running a bit rough when I purchased it, so I rebuilt the carburetors, replaced the timing gears and belts, points, plugs cap and wires etc. My machine shop rebuilt the head with new valves and shims as needed. I also cleaned and sealed the fuel tank. The odometer reads 14,366 but it isn’t current. Service records from previous owner are included. They indicate that the internal speedo drive gear needs to be replaced. I have purchased but not installed the gear. It will be included with the sale. The body is in decent shape with evidence of one small patch in the driver’s floor pan. Good tires and glass. Not much is needed to bring this car back to its original glory. Asking $12,500.00 OBO. For Sale Jensen Healey 14668 Garaged & non-op since 1986. Body in primer. Car has a soft top, Snug Top hardtop, and roll bar. Have all parts to complete the project. Only rust was in seat pans and this has been replaced. Engine is Lotus 907 with reconditioned heads with hardened valve seats and hand lapped valves. Installed with 107 performance cams. Has both Stromberg and Dellorto 45 DHLA carburetors. Has front and rear sway bars (not installed), Caribou Tops soft top NIB, carpet kit NIB, adjustable cam sprockets, and 15-gallon 16 ga stainless steel fuel tank. SOLD 100% comp[lete 1974 Jensen Healey. Been sitting in the woods for 20+ years. Body is definitely NOT restorable. Running gear is all there. Ran and drove when parked. Great parts car. Nothing (and I mean NOTHING) is any good except the mechanicals. Body, interior, bumpers, top, etc. is all beyond fixing. Suspension, engine, 4 speed transmission, rear end, etc. is all there. Best part? It's free. Worst part? It's on an island in the San Juans in Western Washington and you have to come and get it. (7/20/24)

SOLD 1974 Jensen Healey 5 speed, 2.2 engine w oil cooler, hardtop and great condition canvas top, clear rear window. I am listing this for a very close friend's wife, whose husband suddenly passed away late last year. I live about a 45-minute drive from car so can get photos etc. 2.2 engine with HTD belt / gears. To prep car for sale: Since Jan 2024: Dellortos were rebuilt, 5 new tires 205x60x13. New Water pump, thermostat upper /lower rad hoses, oil filter (oil was spotless), New HTD cam belt and tensioner bearing. New battery. Speedo says 29 k but not sure actual. Car was completely sandblasted, rust remediated and painted Viper Red in the early 2004-time frame. Interior / seats redone, dash not cracked. The paint looks excellent with on small ding (dime size) on passenger door. There is a tasteful Jensen Healy script painted on the bonnet. Expenses not spared when it came to this car. Choke pull missing, not needed with Dellorto’s but may be in some spare parts that are in the garage. Car Has Factory Lotus Airbox. Canvas top is excellent, Hardtop also excellent included. Shop manuals included, H4 Headlights. Some service records but cannot find the master list. Photos available $12K (5/15/24)

For Sale Jensen Healey s/n 18748 1975 (1974) 4 speed lotus 907 engine. My future wife bought the car from Manhattan Beach Imported cars, the local J-H dealer. The speedometer has turned over and it's showing 20,000 appx. mi. 1 owner. The Hi's- the engine and trans. were repaired & there is appx. 10,000 on the repair job, the cooling, it is set-up for desert driving, no-point system was installed, the floorboards have been replaced, rubber tires 90 % appx. The Lows: The dash needs to replaced, Tach not hooked up when we instated the pointless in the dist. The heater makes some noise, the fuel tank cover is missing in the trunk, some oil leaks (this is an English car). The car has not been driven since 2021. For Sale 1974 Jensen-Healey Mk II roadster is finished in black with a matching soft top over tan vinyl upholstery with sheepskin covers and was acquired by the seller in 2022. Power is provided by a 2.0L Lotus Type 907, dual overhead cam, 16 valve, all-alloy power plant features aluminum construction and four valves per cylinder, and has been fitted with electronic ignition components from PerTronix and MSD, a three-core radiator with a manually controlled electric fan, a new battery, an oil cooler with stainless-steel braided lines, a fabricated stainless-steel fuel tank, and Magnecor spark plug wires, with twin Stromberg carburetors mated to a five-speed Getrag 235/5 five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a roll bar, front and rear sway bars by Huffaker, a JVC cassette stereo, a heater, an oil cooler, Koni front and rear Delta KYB shocks. The brake lines were replaced with stainless-steel units.
