I have a factory hard top, with heated rear window glass in good shape...but...is missing all the stainless trim except the piece that fits around the gas cap...and all the rubber is missing. Does anyone have a bad one that I can get the parts from? Or have one near to Tennessee that is for sale? Frank Schwartz |

I have an aftermarket but the trim is not the same. Check this place http://southcoastautocenter.com/ ask for Louis, he has (IIRC) 4 J-H's and I believe he had a hardtop with the glass broken out. |

I too am looking for parts. But my hardtop is a "SnugTop" built in Long Beach CA. I am looking for some sort of body seal gasket (?). Anyone have a simple fix for a missing gasket/seal? Thanks. Cory Bartholomew |

try these rubber company; I have catalogs from them from 25 years ago, but they still seem to be in business. J.C. Whitney used to sell 25' rolls of various types but they no longer due; not sure where they got it from but good luck searching. https://www.google.com/search?q=United+Seal+%26+Rubber&oq=United+Seal+%26+Rubber+&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.11420j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 https://www.atlanticindia.com/ http://www.metrommp.com/ https://www.metrommp.com/pages/Manufacturing/03_ReproductionRubber.html |

I found some items at TrimLok that looked good, only issue is the minimum buy was 300 feet. http://www.trimlok.com |

You could try MacGregor's British Car Parts. They carry most body rubber seals for the Jensen and other British cars and maybe able to help you with a hard to find rubber seal. https://www.macgregorukcarparts.com/ |

UPDATE: I found that on my "SnugTop", a 3/4 inch round foam seal works perfect. I simply glued the foam seal into the recess that goes around the bottom of the top. The top does not actually sit on the body it is supported by the front windshield and the attach bolts just behind the seats. The foam seal only "seals" the gap and takes very little weight. I have no idea if this would work on other brand tops, but it fits the SnugTop just fine. Thanks for all the suggestions |
