Does anybody have some current update information on shocks for the JH?
Last info was about a year and a half ago and it looks like Delta no longer carries the Bilsteins.  So are the KYBs a good replacement or is there another source?
Does anybody know the specs for the original shocks?  Dimeter, stroke, pivot size and length?

I could be wrong but I think the JHPS was the only place that carried the Bilstiens.  I think Greg had aspecial set designed.  I'd try the JHPS store, that's where I got mine.

I have a copy of an old post from back in 04 that list's a Monroe Senseatrack for the front. P/N#5752 ST price listed was $33.32 at that time.

I have no first hand knowledge myself and make no recommendations, just passing the info along.

Yes, the club store has the Bilstein shocks, those are rewelded and damped to the correct specs to fit the JH, Bilstein does not make a set per se that fits this car. It's a premium shock, but they are exceptional. Bilstein claims "they should last the life of the car". I've used Koni and Spaxs on my JH and the Bilsteins are head and shoulders above them for a street car. They are not inexpensive, but I would have to pay the same or more to put a comparable set of Bilsteins on any of my other cars.

Delta stocks the KYB shocks, good value for the money. The KYB rear shocks on the JH will raise the back slightly (those are not made specific to the car).

I believe that you can still buy Koni's for the JH at http://www.koni.com

Last I heard, the Konis are NLA. Their site lists no application for the JH, did I miss something?

Thanks Norm.
But at $700.00 plus shipping from Australia, these are way out of my league.  That's about 10% of the value of a good condition JH and surly won't add that kind of value.  These will probably be great on somebody's race car.
If you can get these down to $400.00 plus shipping I would be interested, otherwise looks like Bilstiens for me.
Later,
Clif

I understand  I did forget to take the US exchange rate into the calculation so I have reduced the starting bid to US$600 however at this price I am making a small loss  as such I will keep them for spares for the historic race car I am building here if they don't sell.

Just hit the general category "Jensen Healey", and the shocks don't show up.  You might have something wrong with your listing.
Never mind, it was well down in the listings.
Good luck.
