Hi all a bit of advice needed please. I have just refitted my steering column after a restoration job and when I fit the steering wheel there does not appear to be enough column showing above the indicator stalk and when I fit and tighten the nut the steering wheel is forced onto the indicatot stalk canceling ring and all jams up. Am I missing something, a spacer or something. What are thoughts. Thanks

Vernon, there is no real spacer in that sense but there is a split wedge shaped washer that sit's just after the splines, it is in two pieces and when reinstalling it it's best to put some grease on it to hold in place, then slide the steering wheel down the splines. If you dont have it that could cause this issue.

Thanks for that, I must have lost mine but have now ordered two and all is well, so thanks for the quick reply. Vern
