Time to practice your skills with an x-acto knife & suitable gasket material!

I have lost count of the gaskets I have made by tracing with a sharp pencil onto a Cheerio's box and cutting out same with an Xacto knife and scissors. Corn Flakes boxes work in a pinch.

Why not replace the gasket with an O-ring? When I took the gauges out of the GT dash there was an )-ring between the gauge and the wooden dash. I would think it would be much easier to take a large and small gauge and get the appropriate size. The sizes are approximately 2.25" and 3.25". Multi Grain Cheerios here. Art
