I'm on the lookout for one of the radios that came as original stock with the JH. If anyone knows where I might find one, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Many thanks! Paul |

Hi Paul. I took the original cassette/radio out of my car and you are welcome to it. Rather foolishly (and as the speakers were bad), I did not test it before I took it out of the car. I am sort of busy at the moment, but I'll try to test it out soon, if it works you can have it, unless you have something fun to trade for it. Let me know if you are going to the East Coast Nationals and I'll bring it along. George |

Did the JH ever come with a cassette stock? I've got the original radio/tape player in my car, and it is an 8-track. Mitch Ware 1974 JH-5 #111119670 1971 TR-6 #CC66950LO |

I just double checked, it's a casssette, that says "Jensen Healey" on the face plate. It has a model number JH-8971 and a serial number of 000006. Do I have something of some value, that I have haphazardly thrown in the back of my shed? I figured these things were collecting dust all over the country. ; ) |

George: Many thanks for your reply and offer. I'm located in BC and I want to put my JH on the road with 'collector' plates. By doing so, the insurance reduction is huge. To qualify for these plates, the car must be 25 years old (or 15 years in the case of a limited production run), plus the vehicle must have all original equipment. I'm there....all but the radio! Although I'm in BC, I do also have a US shipping address. Let me know how much you want (including shipping to WA 98226) and maybe you can help me complete the last piece of my puzzle! 'Something fun to trade'.....give me a clue! Cheers, Paul |
