I've sent my speedo and tach to nisonger instruments for rebuilding. Luckily I read that the only electric ignition system that they can calabrate to is a Petronix. I've purchased a "classic" replacment tach which is very similar to the original but I'm not sure of the connection. The car has the standard Green, black, white and white/slate. The Nisonger instructions show: Green: fused power source Black: Metal ground Brown/Grey: Trim off, not used Red/White: Light harness White: only for electronic ignition-Connect to tach prot of ignition module. Do not connect to a tach adaptor box. Long story short. I'm assuming green to green but anyone know which lead the "white" on the new tach goes to. White/Slate or plain White? Please add any relevent info. |
