I got some wheel bearing seals from Delta that look like thin metal washers. There is no rubber seal. Has anyone used them? They came with cryptic instructions that advise me to remove something which I can't quite figure out. Does anyone have the seal number for a "real" seal?? Have a nice day Steve |

These seals do not seal in the bore of the rotor. They are about 1/16 inch smaller in diameter than the ID of the rotor. I called Delta for guidance and they told me this was correct. Can someone explain to me how these are supposed to hold the grease in the hub? Meanwhile, I mic'd the rotor bore and the spindle and came up with about inch and a half IDand 2" OD for the seal which is a standard size. I'll have those seals in the AM and see if they work. Have a nice day Steve |

I know it sounds lame, but they do work. The originals are NLA, but folks have been using these Delta replacements for a few years without problems, as far as I know. |
