Does any one have an air filter housing in good shape they would like to sell? I am getting close to going to get 20105 smog tested and will need one. I have all the hoses and the glass fibre box that mounts to the stroms. Let me know how much shipped to 92807 in California and how you wish to be paid. roblanford@hotmail.com Thanks Robert Last edited on 04-07-2009 06:32 am by roblanford |

Smog test? Do you have a '76? Kurt

Hey Kurt, I insured 20105 as a 1975, The door tag says it was built in april '75, the smog tag under the bonnet says it complies to 1975 smog standards, Delta sent me a copy of the Jensen book that says April '75, Martin Robey sent me a Statement of origin that spells out date of manufacture as 25/4/75, but the State of California insists it is a '76. I am trying to figure out how to fight it. Last edited on 04-08-2009 11:19 pm by roblanford |

Keep trying, You're not the first! Go to a small town DMV... or at least the next town. All you need is one guy to say it's a '75 model year and not a '76 which was probably the year it was first sold. Good Luck, Kurt

If you mean the muffler looking thingy :-) , I have one languishing in my storage. I'd be willing to part with it for 1.5 cases of tasty beer. I'm starting high so there's room to negotiate. I'm in San Diego. Send me a PM.

Are you referring to that big thing that mounts on the inside right fender that looks like a muffler?? I have one I would be happy to get rid of... Frank Schwartz mfsjr2@comcast.net

Frank and I were playing at a "pay it forward" where if someone sent you a free Jensen item you would be obliged to do the same for someone else. Looks like Frank is still involved! I also have a number of parts ( mostly drivetrain and suspension) that would be cheap or free if someone needs them. Give me a hoot! See you on the road! Kurt
