In one of the JHPS mags, there was a picture or short article that mentioned that a Gates hose could be cut in half and one would then have a top and bottom hose. Great idea and if anyone knows what issue that was in....and more important...what is the stock number of the hose, I'd sure appreciate it ....off line please at mfsjr2@comcast.net Thanks and regards to all, Frank Schwartz |

Well, great expectations and all that....came to naught. I have tried every way to see if it will fit and it does NOT. I got this from one of those one column items in the front of the JHPS magazine back in the 90's that Greg Fletcher, himself, wrote.... Maybe he knows something I do not, but I tried to fit it every way possible and it is not a viable item. Maybe somebody knows of another generic that will fit the upper and lower, by cutting in half...or single ones that will fit... Sorry, Gentlemen. Frank Schwartz |
