Anyone have experience with this product? They are claiming a 30% to 50% heat reduction under the hood. They also quoted me a $165.00 price for a set of JH headers. Joey

I had my JH header done. As my car is still on jack stands I can’t comment on real use, although I have heard from folks that it works as advertised. The key to the best possible application lies in giving them a new, unused header. New headers get the maximum coating inside and out and this would provide the best heat dissipation compared to simply coating the outside of a used one. I was told correct coating inside can only be done to new parts.

I had mine done by Swaine Tech. of Rochester, NY for ~$200. It does seem to cut down on cockpit heat, and it is a tough sort of off-white coating that stands up to the abuse of putting a header into a JH. Whom ever you choose, make sure they leave a short piece on the end bare, where you connect to the next portion of your exhaust system.
