Anyone successfully have an oil cooler repaired? Mine is seeping from one of the bottom rows. Definitely easier to replace it but trying to keep the budget in check. |

A fresh one from Setrab or any equivalent would be cheaper than repairing the old one. While at it, you should replace the sandwich plate with one with a thermostat. -- Joachim |

I googled Setrab and now have a new question; what are the fittings on the cooler? Is it AN or a British version thereof? Thanks Last edited on 11-28-2016 10:56 pm by Bfitz241 |

Oil coolers usually have female ports, so they are always supplied with adapters in place for the connection you want. AN, BSP and metric are equally common, a dealer should be able to supply what you need. They fit on all the existing bracketry, btw. -- Joachim |

If on a shoestring budget, search eBay for Mocal or Setrab, there are good prices to be found. That's good info, thanks. I had new oil lines made for the engine, but can't find the receipt and forgot what fittings they are. They're duplicates of what was there so I'm guessing some type of BSP...anyone know what these cars came with for sure? |

I think the originals were 5/8" BSP Gordon |
