A job lot of a few Lotus parts not far from me includes a Lotus 907 'short motor'. I don't recall any variations described as 'short' though. Anyone ever heard of this? Same as the one in the J-H? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/joondalup/engine-engine-parts-transmission/jensen-healey-lotus-esprit-eclat-engine-parts-/1070161834 I guess the easiest way to find out is to just take a look.

Short motor sounds like short block, or just the bottom end of the engine: block, crank, pistons, rods, pan, etc. No head or anything above the deck (except for the parts specifically listed as included).
