hello everyone.  I have seen some postings on the importance of sealing your flywheel bolts to prevent oil leakage, what are people using?  I usually use the yellow teflon tape for such things, but I'd also like to use some thread locker on these guys.  Is there a thread locker / sealer ?

thanks

Locktite claims their 271 thread locker is "for permanent locking and sealing".

http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/t_lkr_red/overview/Loctite-Threadlocker-Red-271.htm

For Sealing Applications: Apply a 360° bead of product to the leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free. Force the material into the threads to thoroughly fill the voids. For bigger threads and voids, adjust product amount accordingly and apply a 360° bead of product on the female threads also. Assemble parts and tighten as required. Sets in approximately 10 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.
