I just finished the installation of the 3.45 differential in JH 13148. There are worn 205/60-13 tires so the total change is only about 5% from stock.

The car is a pleasure to drive and has no problems getting off the line in normal driving. I figured the power upgrades previously completed, high compression, 107 cams, balancing, and Dellortos, would make this a non-issue and that seems to be true.

The diff is filled with Red Line synthetic and makes less noise than the old one. The bushings, shoes, and wheel cylinders have all been replaced to complete the package.

I'm planning on installing new 185/70-13 tires for easy cruising on some longer tours this summer.

Kurt
