Just got a sale flier from one of the usual (machine tool) suspects. Looks like they have a tool on sale that might be handy for playing with valve shims: Dial Thickness Gage pc.

I'm going to avoid rebuilding engines in the future, as I have avoided that task in the past. Nice price for a nice tool. Pete
