I have a leak where this plastic line fits to the engine and am trying to redo the conncection. I am having trouble getting the hard plastic line onto the metal nipple. Is there some trick to doing this?

Yes, get a new line from Delta, that plastic line is better than 25 years old and your engines life blood runs thru it, cheap insurance you wont have further issues.

I have a spare in the garage. You are welcome to it. Just buy a replacement for me and bring it over when it arrives. Give me a call if you want to use it. John-Brooklyn Park MN 763-561-7998

That would be so great. I just got my rebuilt distributor back and was really looking forward to trying it out. THe oil line came off when I was in there working. I just placed an order with Delta. When is a convenient time for you?

I am home right now getting windows installed. Give me a call and either I can bring it over or you can come pick it up. John
