Anyone know of a replacement or substitute. Delta does not have this piece. There is no replacement number in the catalog/parts list. The flip-up gas cap has a gasket/sealer underneath held on by a screw. Underneath the gasket is a spring to provide tension against the neck to help provide a good seal. It looks like it's made by pressing two pieces of metal together with a rubber gasket between and exposed on the ends. Thought I would ask before I start searching. |

Art, I would go to Mcmaster-Carr and buy a piece of gasket material that is gasoline compatable and just cut your own using the old one as a template. Brett |

That's what I am doing. I got around to really looking at it and discovered it is two pieces of metal pressed fit together and holds the rubber gasket in place. Pretty simple actually. Just have to get the rubber sheet and cut out the gasket. |
