I am working on my fuel system and the original locking fuel cap is in great shape except for the rubber seal. In looking around online it appears that Triumph and BSA motorcycles use the same cap as the Jensen. One site even offers the seal only. I am thinking of ordering one up, but wanted to check JHPS first. Jim at DMS said he can't get just the rubber seal. |

I ordered the rubber gas cap gasket today from Moore's Cycle Center (http://mcctriumph.com in Anaheim today. The gasket was $5 + shipping+ tax. I will update you on whether this works for the original Jensen fuel cap. I also found a bunch of sources for complete new or used fuel caps. Some are locking, some are not. Note that the neck for the motorcycle differs from the Jensen Neck. I searched for BSA p/n 68-8190 or Triumph p/n 06-0681. Some caps are from the original mfg in England and others are clones from India or China. The gasket for the gas cap arrived today and fit perfectly on my original gas cap. It took some wd-40 and wiggling it to get it positioned in the groove on the metal piece that holds it. My gas cap is ready for use and it only cost me $9.50 with shipping.
