I put in the new replacement fuel pump from Delta and the banjo connections are spewing fuel everywhere. Anybody else have this problem ? Are there any 90 degree fittings available for these pumps to eliminate my problem ? Just anoher pause in the road of getting 16617 back on the pavement.

What type pump was it? The banjo fittings and banjo bolts are for the original SU and require fiber sealing washers or for the later SU (with the lip on the pump housing) O rings on the pump side of the fitting. If you replaced it with a solidstate Facet pump (what Delta used to sell) then you cannot use the banjos but use NPT fittings that you can pick up at your local hardware store. Jim

It's the new SU pump so I got a couple of o-rings to fit nicely and the problem looks to be solved. Onward and upward to the big start-up soon. Thanks. Steve
