Is it possible this series of motors share a common crankshaft , but different strokes ? I'm working with a crank manufacturer for potential of forged stroker cranks, for this series of engines. Anyone have interest in such ? Thanks, roverman.

Garry Kemp has done at least a 2.5 liter IIRC. Sounds expensive!

I suppose "expensive" is a relative term ? Isn't the cast 2.2L crank approx. $1,200, In the JHPS store ? Forged stroker will likely be less, based on volume. Regards, Art G.

Sounds like a great project, Art! It sure makes for good reading! Will you be using custom con rods and pistons?

Yes, based on what strokes prove compatable with potential of existing forging. Likely a shorter/lighter rod and less compression height on piston. Regards, Art G.
