Just starting a restoration on a 1974 JH. Picked it up a few days ago. Stored for 22 years in a shed north of Palmdale, CA. Trunk is locked with a key broke off in the lock. Any suggestions...besides call a lock smith? Thanks, OneBuck David Gunderson |

I might try spraying in some Tri-Flow type lubricant and seeing if a pair of needle nose pliers and a jeweler's screwdriver would help. |

Purchase the finest (read that smallest) coping saw blade you can find. Break off the end so that the tooth taper will slide past the key and insert it down into the keyhole next to any part of the key you can get it to fit next to. Give the broken blade enough of a twist to exert pressure on the eky. This will cause half the teeth to bite into the key due to the blades kerf. Pull out slowly.
