Our second detailing day in Irvine, California is coming up fast. Don't wait till the last minute to sign up. Just do it now and relax instead of rushing around when time is running out. Our Meguiar's detailing class will be on Saturday, September 16, 2006. So click on over to Meguiar's online forum (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=5e864c62782400ffbfa1cb92efd926bd&threadid=11415) and sign up right now. Yes, now. As in NOW! To sign up you'll have to join Meguiar's Online (it's just like joining this web forum) then post on the sign-up thread that you'd like to attend. Then they add you to the list. It's easy and it's FREE. Class goes something like this: -show up (coffee and donuts will be waiting for you) -presentation on the various topics of finish care -question and answer session on detailing stuff -Pizza -Hands-on demo on a car chosen from the crowd. Everybody participates. -officially scheduled stuff over, proceed to more playing with cars and wax and stuff -fill out a class feedback form, grab your Meguiar's goody bag and go home It's fun. OK, signing up for the Meguiar's detailing day isn't the simplest thing in the world. But it's worth the trouble! And it's FREE! It's not all that hard either. Their site is visually crowded but the basic process is straightforward: Join Meguiar's Online. (just like you joined here) Sometimes the confirmation/activation email doesn't come through (if your email system is blocking them). If yours doesn't show up, don't panic. Just wait a day or two and Meguiar's administrators will manually activate your account. Then Go to our JHPS detailing day sign-up thread. (by clicking here) Click the Reply button:  Type "please sign me up" or something like that in the box. Click on the "Submit Reply" button. There, you've done it. You're in! PC. Meguiar's website was hacked this weekend and isn't up as of Monday morning. So if you want to sign up it may be a little while. If you can't get signed up by like, Tuesday, let me know and I'll see what I can do. PC. |
