I would like to install a Gps system in my Jensen Healey ( Same unit as The Hertz Neverlost). I didn't know if the electrical system could handle the load..... or Lucas could create new demons. I've gotten to rely on GPS over the years and believe I could install the system so it is not very noticeable to the untrained Eye. Maybe this is really a stupid idea..... but I do have an extra neverlost sitting in the house not being used... seems like I should make good use of it or my wife will find a way to throw it out. Normally, the unit hardwires into the fusebox. Willing adding an extra Load... create too much stress for the Lucas electrical System? thanks john |

Add a small accessory fuse box that gets power directly from the battery. Use it for stereo, driving lights, gps, MSD, etc. It may not look original but it works. Kurt |
