Hello JHPS members, I'm sure people on the board can relate to the problems of a JH dash, and mine was in sorry shape. I explored the Delta dash cap, having JustDashes restore it ($1200.00 and 4 months) as well as possibly recovering in leather, close to the JustDshes cost. As an experiment, I removed the dash as a winter project and worked to find the right materials to fix the broken foam, as well as be able to fill and patch the vinyl. I'd be curious to hear if others have done this and the results and how you approached it. I've attached the after pic of what I looks like and curious to your thoughts. I forgot to include the dash before so you can see the real difference. The right side was almost as bad. Attachment: JH Dash 1.jpg (Downloaded 97 times) |

That looks good. It would be helpful to many, IMO, if you wrote up what exactly you did. Include any pictures you may have of the process. Contact Greg about getting it published in the monthly magazine and/or post here and on other sites. Good luck and take care. |
