Hi Alll Aussie Stu here My car is RHD The fresh air flap broke the other night whilst driving home late, the heater ain't that great and I was trying to close footwell fresh air intake. It is a solis wire pull ( looks like a choke pull ) located just right of radio console, mounted off bottom of dash Im ok with fixing it, it's just a push pull, BUT After getting in footwell on both sides; there is an exact square opening on the passenger side letting in air? From scuttle After looking around on the passenger side, I can't see there has ever been a flap or control???? So, can anyone help, did they hav e dual setup pull push controls both sides?? Is min e missing?? Did one side control both? Can't see how, or is my passenger side missing, ie push rod,rod mount to dash, flap etc??? If so has anyone got a drives LHD side one they can sell me Hope someone can help Cheers Stu |

Your missing the passenger side vent flap, it's a duplicate of the drivers side, and should have the little push and pull rod against the center consul. Brett |

That flap is secured to the firewall with a nylon hinge that snaps into the flap and into the firewall... and it can be a real bugger to get installed...but once in, note that the flap has a sort of catch that helps keep it snapped closed...a funky sort of thing, but properly "fixed" and installed, works nicely.
