I have found a new (to me) source for new front glass. Pilkington classics: http://www.pilkingtonclassics.com. I just received mine and it seems to be fine overall but have not tried to fit it yet. It costs $250 + $150 shipping. |

Pilkington is the original Triple-X manufacturer for many Britcar windshields. Top quality and a correct fit. ProSource is a US-based company that sells Chinese-sourced windshields for a lot of cars, foreign & domestic. I've not inquired about Jensen-Healey glass, but ProSource could be another option if you're ever in the market. Prices are lower than Pilkington, but quality & fit are NOT up to Pilkington standards. Personally, I'd prefer Pilkington quality over ProSource price. http://www.prosourceglassintl.com/index.html Regards, Tim Engel Last edited on 11-20-2016 02:25 pm by Esprit2 |

I have a Pilkington in my car since 2003, good fit no issue's, I did get it professionally installed and they used a 1" bead of a silicone mix (two tube mix) about 3/8" thick all around the perimeter. PS: Triple X was the original supplier. Brett Last edited on 11-19-2016 07:57 pm by Brett Gibson JH5 20497 |
