What is the recommended after-market steering wheel diameter for a tall JH driver? I'm leaning towards the 14" 3-spoke wheel to give my legs some extra clearance.

Hi Mitch, The 14" is a big improvement over the stock wheel. It does block the turn signal lights though. Kurt

Kurt, did you notice much of a change in steering effort? Mike

Yes, when parking. but the trade-off is being able to drive without my knees touching the steering wheel.

Did you ever replace your wheel? If so what hub did you use.

I purchased a genuine Jensen Healey Le Carra B-35J hub from e-bay but the splines do not fit my steering column. I am not sure if the hub in the box is wrong (no markings on the hub itself) or if my early car somehow has a different steering column. http://www.jensenhealey.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=1667&forum_id=11 This weekend I'll measure the splines on the column and post what I find. Most likely the hub in the box is not the correct hub so I may be placing an order to England. Perhaps a group buy opportunity? Mitch
