A few years ago, I bought the new style clear plastic from Delta, and I am just getting around to installng it, but I can't get it to stick. I have tried a couple of different glues with clamps, but it just comes off. Does anyone know the trick? Do I need to staple it like the original, which will require an air stapler and very fine staples? Thanks.

No Offense.... but throw that one out. Buy a near exact replacement from Macgregor from Canada. They make one which is extremely durable, sticks, and looks extremely close to the original. http://www.macgregorukcarparts.com That clear plastic thing is just not a replica piece.
