I was doing some work on the center console, (new radio, wood trim ect.) and in my zeal I pulled the choke cable out of the engine compartment to clean and lube it.  Now I can't figure out where it penetrates the firewall back to the engine compartment.  It's pretty tight under there, heater core and all, I'm either looking too hard in the wrong place or I've got more work than I planned to do to run this thing back where it belongs.

Anyone know off the top of their heads how the cable is routed?

On my car it runs through the firewall directly beside the foot pedal box.  If you look at the firewall (engine side) directly to the left of the aluminum foot pdal box protruding the firewall you will see a set of four smaller holes in a diamond spaced pattern.  These holes are also located below the speedometer cable hole.  The right hole of the of the four diamond shaped spaced holes is for the choke cable.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for checking.  I assumed it was easier to get to than I thought, it just seemed a long routing to get to the carbs.

Thanks again,

George
