Alright! It's in Staunton, VA, a town I know well, and one only about 2 hrs away from me. Anyone coming through Fredericksburg, VA to get to the meet who wants to overnight in my humble abode would be welcome. Looks like I might have to pony up the money to get my car in some semblance of respectable shape before then. I've been having too much fun driving it these past couple years to do much to it. Let's see...need to fix the rust in front of the left rear wheel, paint job, and replace the rear main seal..the "dreaded rope seal" I think. Hmmmm...maybe it's time for that 2.2 rebuild by Judson.... Last edited on 10-23-2006 09:06 pm by frank12873 |

Oh come on Frank, you gotta replace that Mk I with a suitable MkII block! I've got a spare Mk II block with your name on it sitting downstairs, just ask Santa to deliver it by Christmas...

I might drive to that thing! That is right near a buddies house in Waynseboro, and the JH Race car will have a street tag. About 4 hours from me. Weather should be good, and I've got plenty of time to sort of the turn signals etc., all those little things that haven't been completed. Cool! Ron Last edited on 10-23-2006 11:30 pm by Ron Earp |
