I'm assembling 12947 and have this support bracket in my refurbished parts pile that I cannot find in my reference photos or after hours searching through parts diagrams on line. This is not one of the 3 steering column supports - those are already in place. This is stouter than those and the holes are ~12mm (1/2"). Just went through the parts diagram book, and doesn't jibe with anything in there. You have another car you've been working on? |

Thanks for the effort. My other cars are done. The only thing I can think of is that it may have been in the box of parts I got with the car, since it was partially disassembled by the PO. I'm satisfied that it hasn't got a place on the car so I'll just leave it. Back to putting actual JH parts on the car. |
