It's easy, just click on the "Choose File" below, find your photo on your computer or whatever it that you are using, click on your photo (the file size should not exceed 100 KB) and click "Preview" to view. After that you can click Post and you are set.

and it's really easy once you figure out how to reduce the image ... btw, this is 30243.

I've been bringing the car back to life after an 18 year rest. The previous owner did many modifications including JH bumpers, a Nissan 300ZX V6 engine with automatic transmission and Vintage A/C.

I know, not everyone's "cup of tea" (especially the interior) but I'm enjoying it immensely. There are 24 fuses, 11 relays and the main computer has 119 wires. I've got the electrical sorted except for the custom Dolphin gauges and the Jensen AM/FM cassette deck. Once I get the overheating issue fixed I'll need to replace the tires, that have a 1999 date code!

I first saw that car at the Nashville Jensen Nationals and thought it was one of the best well laid out modified Jensen’s I had ever seen, never been a fan of GT’s but that car I would take in a heartbeat.

Sander,

How you choose to restore your car is up to you. I'm just glad you are they didn't make many of these so so keeping them on the road is a good thing. The steel bumpers on the GT look very nice.

This picture was taken when Jim got the car. It was pine green and had no engine (or floors). He paid nothing for the car. It was found in a leaky old shed in northern CA. The land developer, who had just bought the property, told him he could have the car if he just moved it out quickly.

Brett, Jim died weeks after the Nashville event. He and his wife Shirley drove the GT to Texas, attending the Austin Healey Conclave, before returning home to CA.

Jim was an aeronautical engineer that had worked for Lockheed Skunk Works. An 'evil genius' that had restored several Austin Healey's over his years, all modified in the same manner as the GT.

Jim's son sent me a few old photographs with the car. Unfortunately there were no notes about restoration, wiring or other modifications

I've had 30352 since 2001. Previous owner(s) painted it "bright" white (the headlight surrounds look like correct white), removed the vinyl top and added the decal. It still has the original engine. The AC has never worked and the power windows move very, very slowly. I had the headliner and seats redone and powder coated the rims (SWMBO likes the B&W theme). Richard Calver educated me that the car came from the factory with the vinyl top so I had that installed (but without the rust causing seams).

Sander, I had heard that Jim had passed and always wondered what had happen to that amazing car, glad to hear that it is in good hands
I’m not one for to many mods and prefer originality but that car in my opinion was done to perfection, a lot of mods car seem to be always lacking something.
