... and despite a number of ups and downs, I have never regretted the decision to do so.  Of far greater importance, though, are the people I've met because of my JH.  Almost without exception, everyone has been kind, courteous, and civil, helpful in times of need, and tolerant of my mistakes and shortcomings.  Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you.

Congratulations Mark on the first five years of what will hopefully be a long and happy relationship.

These cars are great, but the people that it brings us together with are a special breed as well.

Cheers to you!

It will be a little while before I have my first anniversary with my Jensen Healey. I bought mine just a few months ago (mid June). This group of like-minded folks with interest in these cars is simply great. It helps provide me with an even greater level of enjoyment from my purchase than I thought I would have. The wealth of information is just fantastic. Thanks to all.

Mark - I have been meaning to pass along my congratulations.  Only five yers?  With the amount of good advice you provide, i assumed you were a lifer.  Anyway, happy motoring, and Thanks.

George,
Thanks.  I try to remember what other folks have done to fix problems with their cars, and combine that with my own experiences, a decent background in science and engineering, and a lot of lucky guesses.  I enjoy doing 'remote diagnosis' of JH problems, despite the occasional frustrations involved, and it keeps what little is left of my mind from rusting entirely away.

And as a drill instructor once said, many decades ago, "Being a lifer isn't a matter of years, it's a state of mind."

Mark, Congratulations! My relationship with 1111-18309 is in its honeymoon, although it seems much longer. Lots of surprises so far. Not running yet but hopefully within the next two weeks. Thanks to all for all the support and advice. Aint life Grand, especially with these cars!
