Ok answered my own question here. I,m pretty sure there is another way to do this but dont seem to be able to attach it as a word file. Article by R M Clarke
"Jensen Healey 1972-1976" Brookland Books, compiled by R.M. Clarke which includes the launch, 2 litre, later cars, how they're-built, the Jensen GT, buying second-hand.

Steering column is Vauxhall Viva. Not too sure about switchgear, though.Front and rear suspension is Vauxhall Magnum 1800 and Firenza for springs, bushes, ball joints. The shockers are Girling gas shocks (OEM) and available from Martin Robey and Richard Appleyard, or you can fit Spax adjustables intended for the aforementioned Vauxhalls. I have some Magnum rear shocks which will fit my Jensen GT ok but are a bit too soft, although if you like four-wheel drifts they are just the thing. You shouldn't have trouble getting any OEM bits for these cars, only real problem is panels. Incidentally, rear lights are same as early Lotus Elite (wedge),Scimitars, and some TVRs. Front indicators and sidelights are Leyland, possibly TR7 ?5-speed gearbox is BMW-Getrag, still available brand new to the best of myknowledge.4-Speed box is Sunbeam H120 Rapier, must be dozens in scrapyards in the UK, although I once heard it said that you were more likely to find rusty JHs than Sunbeams! :-<Back axle is Vauhall Victor final series. Here's a thought - anyone put a Lotus Sunbeam (ie. ZF) 5-speed in a JH or GT? There are enough axle ratios available to make this a practical conversion..
The two sliding locks in the door skins are from a Hillman Hunter or
Avenger.
pipes and silencers from Falcon Engineering of Nottingham, all in stainless.
Silencer's from RoadRunner 07071 224772 good build & price

For an oil filter I use a Fram PH16 or equivalent. Front brake pads
should be the same as a Triumph 1500 Mk 3 or Mk4, sorry can't tell
you what year but I think these were the very latest year of the
Spitfire.

The original fans were from a Hillmam Avenger circa 72-75. They can be
bought from,

The origin of the boot lock is Mk 3 Ford Cortina I believe.

The master cylinder off of a TR6 will fit the JH. They look a little different but the cost savings is pretty significant.

TSW   15x7 wheel with a 20mm offset.

Instrument panel removal
Two long black screws, pointing roughly upwards, are located in the
upper surfaces of the recesses for the small instruments on left and
right of the instrument panel. Remove them.
A long round steel spike extendes from the centre of the rear of the panel
straight back to a (likely rusty) fixing mechanism that allows the spike to
slide in easily, but not out. Wrestle with that clip to release the spike and
the panel will slide forwards - instruments, lights and all.
You may or may not have to undo the speedo cable and the oil pressure
line to allow the panel to move forward as far as you want.

Boot lid Strip
Firstly, the strip to which you refer is stainless steel, not chrome. One of the
great virtues of the JH is its almost total lack of chrome.

I believe there were two methods used to retain the strip. One was metal clips
pop riveted to the boot lid, the other was plastic clips that look a little like
space invaders. My car uses the plastic clips, and you take the trim off just by
pulling it. The clips are fitted by placing the lug in the hole in the boot lid and
tapping a pin with a hammer to expand the lug and keep it in place. This can
only be done once. New clips are available to order from Ford dealers under the
part number F1432241.

The standard Lotus engine was replaced with a Rover V8 3500cc for
reliability and a 390cfm Holley carb with Offenhauser Manifold to get
the power up (and believe me it is). It's linked to the original back
axle with a shortened and balanced Jag prop.

the early engines met with a lot of complaints about oil leakage.
In later engines, the rope-type rear end oil seal was changed to a rubber seal,
and the camshaft oil seals were also changed to reduce leakage from the rear
of the cam towers. Somewhere along the line the cam tower - head seal was
changed from a paper gasket to an anerobic sealer plus O-ring as well.
Also, the oil separator was deleted around that time.
Check that one of your blocks doesn't have a large X stamped into it near the
crankshaft sandwich casting. The X indicates that the engine was align bored
0.010" oversize and will require special (expensive) large O.D. bearings.

On top of block: B72121 109 Bottom of Block: 1109

Built 1972 month 12 serial number 1109. The B indicates the market for which
it was destined, but I don't have those codes at hand.

I already forgot (because of the shitloads of small problems I have had
to put up with since) that my J-H blew the 3th fuse because of the
courtesy light and did not start.
Try it: put the courtesy light into the OFF position and change the fuse
and try again.

I also might add, the rev.counter design is quite odd. Inside, some wire
goes through a coil and if one of the two connections is gone it won't
start. This lay- out really is unusual.
I changed the insides of my rev.counter to modern electronics (I am the
one with the Rover V8 fitted) and had to keep the odd wire connected and
use a new wire from the ignition coil (normal setup: GND, POS and IGN).

Some way these things are related. Well, it is all Lucas, for one.

Interesting list.

I see the lug nuts cross referenced to the Chevy Monza. Dorman makes the 611-248 which does look close.

Has anyone tried these?

Kurt

I bought a Chevy Monza lug nut. The outside diameter is too small for the holes in the wheels. You could use one on each wheel in an emergency.
