I WANT TO REMOVE THE AIR PUMP ON MY GT.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MODIFICATION OF WATER PUMP PULLEY MOUNTING SO I CAN USE ONE BELT TO GO FROM CRANK TO ALTERNATOR TO WATER PUMP

What a timely question. In order to remove the exhaust on the GT engine I have the tubes above the top exhaust bolts have to be removed. Then you can get to the top exhaust bolts. Un fortunately, some of the tubes broke when I was removing the rusted on nuts. So I am looking at doing something like this also.

I am still working on a solution with the water pump pulley.

When I solve it I will let you know.  I have not yet removed the air injection tubes.  Hopfully I can get them off without breaking anything.

Yes....Pictures of the pulley/v-belt routing would be great.
