I forgot to pay the reg and am now waiting for my sticker. :-( What a moron! I am looking forward to the West Coast Nationals near Yosemite. I hope to see many of the more recent Jensen owners and some old friends at the event. I wonder if we'll need a Jart sharpener? Kurt |

Which West Coast Nationals? I knew there was and Austin Healey national meet in San Diego this year, but I haven't found anything anywhere about a Jensen Meet near Yosemite. Edward |

It's in the people and places link above. September 18-21, 2008, The 2008 Jensen Nationals [West], is being held at the Pines Resort, Bass Lake, California (14 miles south of Yosemite National Park's South Portal, and another 34 miles to the Valley floor). Registration is 4195 per couple ($120 single) and rooms start at $139 a night. See http://www.j2008west.com for details or email info@j2008west.com |

I'm sorry I didn't find out about this before. I wouldn't have been able to stitch it into my summer plans, though: my faculty retreat is that weekend. I'm only planning on going to the Cottage Grove, OR Rendezvous this weekend (run by the MGT club) and the All-British Field Meet in Portland over Labor Day weekend. I should get a notice about the ABFM up on the People and Places section; it's supposed to be the biggest British Car meet in the US, and it features some vintage racing at PIR, as well as a giant slalom on the track. I'll be looking forward to pictures from the Jensen Nationals on the JHPPG! Cheers, Edward |

Errr, I guess that nobody knew about this before. It was only announced a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't even able to get in the July issue of the newsletter since it was already printed. Anyway, it does sound like a great location. |
