As you can read in another thread, I think the pinion bushings in my steering rack have done their duty and need to be replaced. There seems to be no tangential or axial play in the pinion shaft, but there is noticeable radial play at the end of it, so I am thinking worn bushings. The rest of the rack seems to be in good working order. Does anyone know where to find replacements for the pinion shaft bushings? Changing them should be straight forward, rack rebuild is covered by the shop manual. -- Joachim
