If you're talking about the rear seal that goes around the drive shaft mating point it's actually not too bad. You need to pull the drive shaft, use a seal removing tool to get the seal out, and then carefully and evenly press the new seal into place. Once in, replace the driveshaft and you're good.

With the car up on jack stands, providing nothing else goes wrong in the meantime it's a 1 - 2 hour job. No biggie at all.
