by the way, what does IIRC mean?

I checked the timing without disconnecting the vacuum. I was alone and so I was guessing on the engine speed. The timing is at 10 degrees btdc at 1000 rpms and advanced about 8 degrees when I advanced the rpms. I would guess that the car was at 2000 to 2500. The timing read about 18 btdc with the vacuum attached and with the car at about 2500 rpm. by the way, what does IIRC mean?
