 Why I plugged the vacuum retard? It was already plugged when I got it, and I have been too busy plugging leaks elsewhere to start opening stuff up again... :-)

I'm not going to buy a new distributor at this time, I am planning to build somethink similar to your engine, but then I have to get through the red tape first. If I can't find a way through, I'll consider it.
