Garry Kemp did the RHD 912 swap years ago and was my inspiration for the 910/907 hybrid I put into 13492. My LHD modifications were limited to some minor cutting of the front cross-member. As I recall Garry's RHD modifications were quite a bit more intensive.
An easier solution would be to transplant the 912 bits into your 907 and end up with an engine similar to Erik Harkes (907 bottom end 912 top end). The 912 (toyota W58/57) transmission will bolt up just fine to the 907 block (sans 2 bolts).
