 Me thinks that is the fabled Overdrive feed wire shown on the wiring diagram that Jensen planned to use but never got around to doing.  According to my wiring diagram it is G-85-SC.

I just had a brain-storm....hmmmm....this would be a convenient Ignition switched lead for the MSD unit we installed in Sander's car.  Thanks Jim for the inspiration!
