 Well, not to get too far off topic. My nephew wants the car, as it was the last car my brother owned. But he's not particularly mechanically inclined. But he and a friend are willing to learn.

I am a long time 60-70s British car guy. And I want to encourage the next generation.

The problem I have with Robey is paying $50 for a consumable paper element. I was hoping that there had been work done on finding suitable replacement parts for unobtainable items.

For instance, Robey has the turn signal stack for 130bp, that's about $170 here. It looks identical to the one on my MGB. Maybe there is a different Molex on the end, that would have been dumb. Moss has it from Classic Gold for $100 and a no-name for $65.


I'm not a big fan of Ram Flo foam filters, and K&N seemingly abandoning these carburetors. They seem to have tripled in price in 15 years. So I'd like to keep the stock muffler look.
