 Those fuse ratings are from the shop manual specifications section, and a reproduction manual at that. Who knows what was done on the assembly line, and much less so for previous owners?

The DIN standard comes from Germany, so we can't blame this one on the Brits. DIN stands for German Standards Institute. (Deutsches Institut fur Normung).
