 Uni-Syns don't work all that well, anyhow. They put too much load on the carb being measured so you have to be quick. These guys work better:

You can also do a decent balance by listening to the intake of the carbs with a tube. I did this for years. It is somewhat cumbersome and takes some practice, but works pretty well.
