Well I think it's safe to say the more we discuss this subject the more confusing it becomes, at least for me.

I'm finding Pokeyjoe's car the most confusing of all. It's stamped as a '75 but registered as a '74 and has no smog equipment which was supposedly required on the '75s. While I have heard of cars registered the year after they were stamped, I never heard of a car being registered the year before it was built.
