during hot weather and driving for a while my engine is hard to start after a 5 - 10 min rest. engine temp goes up and i get what i think is fuel percolation? i need to pump the gas while cranking the engine. it starts but real rough. i have a low oil pressure shut off switch for the electric fuel pump, pertronix ignition, new spark plugs and good wires. this condition only happens as explained, else the engine runs great. starts right up!!! resolved: typical problem with a faulty temp compensator, cleaned each and reset them to open a 120 degrees +- a few.
